女性仏教文化史研究センターとして、日本の文化史や仏教史の研究を推進し、主に尼門跡寺院や関連する調査研究、またそれらの保全のための修復事業活動を行う研究機関です。
We are a center for the study of women, Buddhism, and cultural history. Our activities are focused on imperial convents and their heritage. In addition to researching their history and treasures, we assist in finding ways to conserve and preserve precious artifacts and documents.
